Clark County
Amateur Radio Club

Est. 1956

Covid-19 continues to have a significant impact on the ham community, with just about all hamfests in our area and accross the country being cancelled.

While the Greater Louisville Hamfest was recently cancelled, the Clark County Amateur Radio Club will have its own tailgate style swap meet on Saturday September 12th! It will be at the American Legion in Sellersburg Indiana, more info can be found below!

The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Jeffersonville, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies.
