The Clark County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) was organized in 1953 by a small group of local amateur radio operators in Clark County, Indiana under the directions of the late Jack Himmelheber (W9JBQ). The club was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1956 with the aim of promoting Amateur Radio as a hobby and to provide emergency communications for public safety agencies.
The CCARC Net meets on the air Wednesdays at 9:00 pm on 146.850. There is no PL tone.
All Amateur radio operators welcome to check in.
Club meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30PM (19:30).
The location for the meeting is at the Moose Lodge in Sellersburg.
The second annual Clark County Amateur Radio Club Swap Meet will be held at the Sellersburg American Legion Parking lot. The address is 412 N. New Albany Ave Sellersburg, IN 47172. Entry is FREE tail gate spaces are FREE (donations encouraged). Testing on site ($10 fee). 50/50 drawing and equipment testing also available. Talk-in is 146.850 (no tone).
